On September 15, 2026, an astronomical event occurred in the skies above Cessy, France. Around noon, the Moon, although difficult to spot in the bright sky, briefly passed in front of Venus in an event known as an occultation. Suddenly, a bright dot emerged from behind the Moon, revealing the presence of Venus. Such celestial events are a fascinating demonstration of the dynamic nature of our solar system.
