Withlacoochee At US 41 Dunnellon affecting Citrus, Levy and Marion Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Withlacoochee at US 41 Dunnellon. * WHEN...Until Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...At 28.2 feet, Docks and boat ramps flood along the river in Citrus and Marion counties. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 28.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 28.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.2 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 28.2 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.2 feet on 10/02/1979. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
