The northern sections of Vernon may see brief... shallow flooding in streets. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 17.6 feet tomorrow morning.
