expired · active · official-source

Elevated fire weather conditions persist through the overnight hours tonight in the Grande Ronde Valley as dry air and breezy to locally windy conditions continue. Minimum relative humidity levels will improve up to 30-35% through the evening hours with fair to moderate overnight recoveries expected. Sustained winds, however, will continue to be 20-30 mph with gusts up to 35 mph through the overnight hours. Winds will weaken as we head into the mid to late morning hours on Saturday. There also exist a chance of localized blowing dust associated with the breezy winds that can bring major impacts to visibility along roadways, including portions of interstate 84.
